Advocate Dr. Nitin Bhati interacted with the students and enlightened them as to how consumer law can be used more effectively to give justice to consumers. The purpose of the seminar was to shed light on various consumer rights and the need for consumer awareness. He also spoke on consumer protection and empowerment, legal framework of consumer protection, consumer rights and privileges, consumer grievances and misleading advertisements. The workshop also shed light on consumer rights in areas such as online services, insurance, medical negligence, food safety and consumer behavior.
