10+2 (any discipline) with English as one subject; minimum 45%, 40% for OBC/ SC/ ST student as per the norms of Directorate of Technical Education Bhopal and AICTE.

For admission student needs to get registered on DTE counseling portal and follow this process (As per the guide lines of DTE Bhopal, MP).

There is a huge market of hotels blooming worldwide, one after finishing graduation can get placed into a chain of Indian and international hotels, namely, Taj, Oberoi, Hilton group, Hyatt, Sheraton etc. One can get variety of jobs based on their area of interest. The initial salary can reach upto 10-15k per month or as a management trainee, it could be 20k as stipend, who can later on work as a manager with a lump sum amount of salary. Further on, one can also work in the ancillaries like the KFC, McDonald’s, Pizza Hut etc.

Hotel management is not just hotels it can also range up to Airline industry where one can join as air stewards, ground staff or as public relations officers. The salary in this area can range upto 25-30k for domestic airlines and around 50k for international airlines. The cruise lines attract the most as the package can be upto 70k based on the level of experience one holds. Then comes the retail sector which encompasses malls, PVR, back office jobs and also in hospitals and BPO industry.

Further, one can also enter the teaching field or can choose to become an entrepreneur by opening their own restaurants.
